All students are required to wear our SDGA branded uniform in class. This promotes team building, inclusivity and a sense of belonging and ensures students are wearing appropriate attire to safely participate in the class. Uniforms are worn for our Mid-Year Concert and the finale dance at our End of Year concert and new students have 2 weeks to purchase the uniform.

PRE-SCHOOL (2 - 5 year olds)

We have a beautiful Pre-school tutu, which you can purchase here. Pre-schoolers are welcome to wear any of our uniform items (many wear the pink dress or black dress - size 2 is on sale for $25) or their own pale pink Dancewear. Pre-School boys wear our Acro tshirt with their own black shorts or leggings. Students may have either bare feet or ballet tights with ballet shoes for class, which are available through Bloch, Flo Dancewear or Kmart.

PRE-JUNIOR & JUNIOR (KINDY - YR 4)

ACRO DANCE CLASS UNIFORM:

Any combination of our SDGA uniform items below with bare feet. Hair must be tied up neatly. We have heating in our studios but you may like to add your own plain black leggings and a wrap top in winter.

BALLET, JAZZ & LYRICAL CLASS UNIFORM:

Any combination of our SDGA uniform items below with pale pink ballet tights and ballet shoes. Hair must be tied up neatly (a bun is preferred). Ballet tights and shoes can be purchased from Bloch in Chatswood Westfield (ballet tights & ballet shoes) , Flo Dancewear or Kmart. We have heating in our studios but you may like to add your own plain black leggings and a wrap top in winter.

INTERMEDIATE & SENIOR (YR 5 +)

ALL CLASSES:

Any combination of our SDGA uniform items below with:

Acro Dance - bare feet

Lyrical / Contemporary - bare feet or foot thongs (optional) 

Jazz - bare feet or tan jazz elastabooties (optional)

Ballet - Ballet students may wear their own plain black leotard and optional wrap skirt with ballet tights and ballet shoes (or similar) *please note that they will require our SDGA 'DANCER' t-shirt for mid-year and end of year concert finale dances
